About the event
Learn the basics of sewing in this fun, beginner-friendly class where you’ll make your own scrunchie from start to finish! You'll get hands-on experience with a sewing machine, learning how to thread, adjust tension, and stitch with confidence. After selecting your fabric, you'll follow step-by-step guidance to sew your scrunchie, with plenty of assistance along the way.
By the end of class, you’ll have a stylish, handmade scrunchie to take home and the skills to keep sewing on your own. Plus, enjoy complimentary snacks as you learn and create in a relaxed, welcoming environment! (13+)
Sewing machines will be provided/available during class, but you are also welcome to bring your own. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to bring one so that we can make sure you have a table with an outlet and an extension cord. Email midwestcraftingcrew@gmail.com.
